Amazing book. I would have been willing to wait longer for a bit more in the book. It was a bit short, but I hung on every word. It's tough to only get through one small crisis only to be cut off again waiting for the next crisis. Over all, the book is amazing and very well written. There's just not enough of it at one time. This series definitely leaves you wanting more.
This is getting ridiculous, people. I understand that it is a fan driven book, but wow...So far it's been $59.80 for a couple of spoon-fed chapters at a time, just to get to the end and find out it's not over yet. I don't have the patience to follow this story anymore. Maybe at some point in like 10 years (!!!!) I will stumble upon the very last one and get it to see how Sean and Avery lived happily ever after.I spent half of this book (and I am using the term very, very loosely) wondering who Gabe and Henry Thomas were. It's been so long since the first books/chapters that I couldn't remember for the life of me who they were and what had they done, good or bad. It finally clicked, but it was very aggravating.I am even wondering why I am giving it 3 stars, cause I really don't want to because I am horrified at the amount of money I have spent on 1 (one!!!!) never ending story. I don't even care if it has a good story line or not at this point.
I like the book and the series. I've been wrapped up in the Sean & Avery saga for too long now.As much as I've enjoyed reading the series, I'm really starting to feel taken advantage of by the author. We're now waiting for installment 22. That's 22 books at $2.99 for a total of $62.79 and each book isn't even novel length. The story just keeps dragging on and on, and when you get to the end of the most recent book thinking there will finally be a resolution to the saga, it leaves you hanging waiting for the next overpriced installment.Don't get me wrong, the story is entrancing when read back to back. But at some point, you have to wonder if the author has any respect for her readers. I really feel as though she's going out of her way to use the good nature of dedicated readers against them by drawing this out and charging readers inflated pricing. This author isn't the only one doing this and I'm getting increasingly disgusted by the use of serial novels to take advantage of readers. I'm getting to the point of refusing to read anyone who can't wrap a series up in 4 novels or less. It's disrespectful of the loyal reader.
Do you want to know what Sean is thinking? Well, AR 20 has just that. This is the most revealing book yet. Not just 1 Sean POV chapter but multiple. This picks up where 19 left off... HM Ward didn't mess around. You asked for answers you got them. Pieces of the puzzle start coming together. All the little bits of information through out the series start easing into the end. Is 20 the last book... Nope and I'm thankful. I don't want this series to end but I'm also in desperate need for answers. This book satisfies that craving.AR 20 is intensely wicked, filled with banter and topped with enough emotion to unfreeze Permafrost aka Constance aka mommy dearest. This is a must read.
I immediately put down the book that I was reading when Arrangement 20 released, I couldn't wait to see if we got the answers we were looking for. I don't know how Holly does it, but she knows exactly what we need. I'm not sure what we are going to do when the Arrangement series ends, it's like a television series, we can't wait for the next episode, and then when it gets cancelled we're lost. We got a few surprise visitors from past installments. I could go on and on, but I would end up giving away spoilers. If you don't read this installment you will be lost when the next one comes out. Holly keeps turning up the heat in this series, I love it, can't wait to get the next one in my hands. Thanks to Holly and her team, she keeps pushing them out one right after another.
Never have I found one of H.M Ward's Arrangement books so SPINE-CHILLING AND SPINE-TINGLING as I did THE ARRANGEMENT 20!! Full of SENSATIONAL SURPRISES and CHILLING SUSPENSE, your at the very edge of your seats clawing on the arm rests. What lies ahead for our poor love lost heroine Avery, and just how sinister can her half brother be, does pure evil run through his veins? Each book we get closer to a breathtaking climatic electrifying finale guaranteed to be H.M Ward's ever SPINE-TINGLING WAY, AND THAT IS THE BEST BOOK SERIES EVER TO READ!!
I am always a little sad when I finish the last pages of a really good book. It's almost like a good friend moving away. Maybe I'll read it again. I read the entire 20 volumes and although I thought at times it seems to rehash the same scenes and she does use the same brief descriptions over and over again. All-in-all it was a really good story. The worst part was having to go back to the Kindle store to buy the next sections. This story is definitely written by an adult for mature readers. If you enjoy mystery and romance and a little blood and gore then this set is for you, as it was for me. Buy it!!! Read and Enjoy!!!I had never read anything by H.M.Ward before and hesitate to give new authors a try but this was great.
I really liked this series from book 1-16... Or so. But now I'm not liking how drawn out the story is. Book 20 felt super short and I was disappointed not to get any more from the story. I'll keep reading because I want to know how the story ends... If it ever does end???
I love Sean and Avery! Every book we get a step closer to finding out if they get their happily ever after. Avery can't believe she has lost Sean forever....or has she? In this installment, we gain some insight into Ms. Black and the brother that Avery didn't know she had. Sean's death wrecks Avery and we start to see again the strong woman she is. This story continues to have so many twists and turns. I can't wait for the next installment!
